About
Kristi Willhoft, LMFT

I feel very privileged to have been working in this field for 20 years and in that time I have developed specialties in working with couples as well as individuals suffering from various forms of trauma. I'm licensed in both Colorado and California. I provide tele-health and in-person sessions.
By listening with the heart and enhancing emotional communications, I can help you find your way through difficult life transitions, relationship issues, parent-child difficulties, trauma, or symptoms of anxiety and depression. I provide a caring, comfortable and supportive setting to make it possible for you to discover a path to living a balanced and peaceful life .
My approaches to treatment include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Imago Therapy for couples, Attachment, Family Systems, and Christian based spiritual formation.

I am also trained in EMDR which has been proven effective in treating trauma in all it’s forms (PTSD, emotional wounding, and early childhood disruptions). EMDR can also strengthen inner resources to address depression, general anxiety, performance anxiety, and general phobias.

Go beyond symptoms of anger, depression, anxiety, or pain… beyond your ability to just tolerate life… to a place of balance and peace.
